I'm looking into renting an apartment in Canary Wharf through www.home-away.co.uk and am wondering if $GBP 700.00 per week is a good price for this location??? I've been looking at hotels every weekend for the past few weeks and can't seem to see anything that has good reviews for under $USD 160.00 per night. I thought that renting an apartment would, if not be cheaper, but would also be more of a home away from home. The one I'm looking at is right on the waterfront and has excellent views, everything is provided - from linens, to towels to every pot and pan you could ever need in a beautiful kitchen. Would appreciate some feedback though because booking anything like this from so far away is always daunting.
I have been having frequent exchange of emails with the owner who is being more than helpful and answers any questions I might have. He just wants a $GBP 350 deposit though PayPal and the rest paid in cash on arrival.

Sorry I thought the location was self evident from the fact I paid in Pounds Sterling and found the apartment on a UK web site..lol :) Canary Wharf is in London. :)
