I'm trying to get an idea of bus routes between different villages in the Cotswolds, but am having no luck using google or the National Express website. I'm staying in Moreton-in-Marsh and want to use buses instead of renting a car (I hate driving). I've heard that buses run regularly between towns but I'd like to plan things before getting there.
We used the bus exclusively when we visited. We had no problems getting around. Here are some websites with timetables. You could also contact the TI of Moreton-in-Marsh. We did this for Cheltenham where we stayed and they sent us a printed schedule.

I was in Moreton and the Cotswolds last fall. The bus no longer runs from the train station/grocery store location. All buses leave from the area in the center of town on the High Street. They were building housing for Oxford students in Moreton-in-Marsh in October. The bus situation will probably change once that housing becomes full. Buses running to Oxford from Moreton maybe. As far as scheduling goes, buses were running to Stow and other towns about every 1 1/2 hours. It is possible to take a daytrip to Stratford-on-Avon or Warwick from Moreton. Moreton has a TI on the High Street near the bus stop. They have bus schedules there, or you can just look for the buses. I Googled Cotswold bus services and found www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bustimetables.
