We're 3 adults with 1 sm carry-on/1 suitcase each, going from Dublin airport to Dun Laoghaire B&B. What is simplest vs economical way to get from airport to our B&B in Dun Laoghaire? I read we can take Aircoach but is this significantly more expensive than regular bus?
City bus will be cheaper at under €2 each, but it is a long ride. Depending upon how crowded the bus is, you may have to drag your bags upstairs. Then, depending upon the location of the B&B, you may need to grab a cab at the ferry terminal. AirCoach is more like €8 each. It will probably take as long as it stops at multiple hotels. You might even need a cab for this if they don't go by your B&B. Probably want to find that out in advance. Depending upon the location, you might also look at taking an Airlink bus to city centre and then transferring to the DART. Has your B&B suggested what the best way to get there?
Thanks for the information. I had not thought to ask the B&B so I will do that first
