Bus around London similar to Paris's buses 69 & 42.

In Paris there is the bus # 69, that does a type of loop around top tourist spots. Is there one similar in London? Thanks

Sorry Keith, you got the 11 and 15 the wrong way round. The old Routemaster buses operate on short journeys of the 9 from Trafalgar Square to Kensington High Street and the 15 from Tower Hill to Trafalgar Square.

The lovely old tourist bus map is no more, I'm afraid. But, there is one quite like it buried away on page 6 of the new tourist guide pdf at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/visitor-guide.pdf that can be very helpful. In fact, that whole guide is quite helpful, and includes good information about the Tube as well.

Look at www.londonforfree.net. You can find directions for doing basically the whole HoHo route on public busses with a day travel pass or Oyster card. Also has pages you can print off for a description of what you are seeing. Londonforfree is a great site with lots of ideas for inexpensive things to do.
