Has anyone attended this banquet in the last couple of years? If so was it worth it? I have taken a look at the menu...not that impressive and other than the entertainment????

Patricia, If you don't get any takers on this, try Tripadvisor. I know I saw a post on this topic in the last year. Decades ago, my grandmother went to the banquet. She pick up an LP of the music which I still have! Pam

We went in 2002, so not quite "in the last couple of years."
However, we thoroughly enjoyed it and we don't usually do anything "touristy." The food is supposed to be representative of what would have been served at an actual medieval banquetpleasant enough, but certainly nothing spectacular. The entertainment is fun, the servers very friendly and most of them had good voices, and there's a lot of camaraderie built into the event. I think it is worth attending one time.

We found this to be a "tourist trap event". Very kitzy and the food mediocre. We would not return!

My mom went to it and enjoyed it. I skipped it because it's beyond my personal "tourist trap" limit. We were both happy with our choice. The food is average and expensive but my mom enjoyed the experience and entertainment.

We went in 2005 to the show in Kinvarra which I believe is similar. We all liked it a lot.The food was good and the show was very entertaining.
