Does anyone have suggestions for a good budget hotel in central Copenhagen? We have 3 days before we get on a cruise in early September. Thanks.
I booked the Cab Inn near Tivoli. It averaged 122 per night for two people for 4 nights. Haven't stayed yet, so can't tell you yet how it turns out.
Judy,
The hotel Nebo is the highest rated inexpensive hotel in Copenhagen...check out the reviews...close to train station and within easy walking distance of all of the main sights in Copenhagen.

We've stayed at the Cab Inn twice - the one by Tivoli and one a bit further away from the train station. Both were inexpensive and just fine. They are VERY tiny rooms but workable. Also, they are clean - the one by Tivoli had a continental breakfast that came as part of the room cost.
Hotel Nebo is great - close to the main station, Tivoli, - we stayed 3 or 4 nights before a cruise, too. It's simple, but historic. Also, it's possible to get to the cruise docks by train - be sure you know which port you'll go to. It's a bit weird walking out to the terminal through the port area, but it worked (most folks use a transfer or taxi, but we're too independent for that).
Just returned from our Baltic cruise. We did a Priceline bid for Copenhagen and got the Marriott for $100+ fees of about $25 per night. Rooms are very nice! You'd pay over $300 going directly through the hotel.
