buckingham palace visit

We are trying to buy tics for BH visit in early Sept. The problem is when filling out the form, add cc info, etc. it appears that they want to mail them to us. This will not work as we are leaving for Europe tonight. Is there not a way to order online and pick up the tics there? Part of the visit will be the Royal Mews and that would perhaps be the logical place to pick up prepaid tickets. Yes, there is a phone number but does not provide info that we need. Can anyone advise? Thanks!

Just last week we ordered Buckingham Palace tickets for later this month and wanted to pick them up as well because of leaving soon. When you get near the end of the ordering process there will be a place to indicate that you want to pick up the tickets there. I believe it is very near the end of the booking process. They will then send you an email receipt that you can print out. It says to pick up your tickets at the Ticket Office on Buckingham Palace Road.

We just visited BP a few days ago after reserving our tickets via the website a few days before that. There is a small box to check at the bottom of one of the last pages indicating that you will "Collect on Arrival" - I think those are the exact words. They will send you an email confirmation number that you can just show to the ticket office. We had to show it to the attendant at the gate just to get in to the ticket office...hoards of people without reservations trying to get in and being turned away! Arrive early! If you have questions as to where the tickets for the Mews should be picked up then the attendants will point you in the right direction - they are very professional and organized.
As you face BP the ticket office is just around the side to the left. The Royal Mews is just beyond that, about a 5 minute walk farther on. Have fun!

Thanks for the replies. We were able to visit Buckingham Palace on our London visit easily. There were two lines-pick up pre ordered tics and buying tics on the day of visit. People were routed through very efficiently and the tour lasted about an hour and a half-it was very worth it! Unfortunately it was raining so we saw little of the gardens but the grounds (especially the size) were impressive. Our tics included the Royal Mews and this tour was disappointing. We had seen them about ten years ago and there was so much more to see plus it was guided.
