Because of Rick Steve's guide, I booked the Brompton Hotel in South Kensington. I really want to stay in that area so was willing to stay at a cheaper/maybe not so nice. But some of the reviews I have been reading on Travel Advisor I have been awful. There have been a lot of comments about how dirty the place is and some shady practices with regards to how they place holds on your credit cards. Does anyone have any experiences to share?
