Has anyone been able to use their Britrail Pass (I have a 8 day flexipass on a computer card) with the 2-1 Vouchers?
I'm afraid their website (Days out Guide) says no http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/ticket-types.aspx
Bummer...but thanks for the definitive answer.
I suppose it might be worth it to get a Travel card!
Sorry about your Britrail Pass not being valid for the 2for1 vouchers John. I am heading to London for 3 weeks in about 3 days... I will be getting the TravelCard from the Rail station Ticket Booth at Paddington and gonna see how well it all works - I will report back at the end of our trip. Dont forget that you need your passport sized photos also... My enigma is that I will be doing this right at the switchover of the offers - most expire on 30 April which is only the 4th day we are in London... I can only hope that new vouchers will come out right away and that they will be available at the stations. I even sent a message/question to the people in charge and they were very noncommittal... But the 2for1 offer is so good that I am going to do my best to take advantage of it. Good Luck, John.
Thanks Diane, I was wondering if it would be worth getting the cheapest travel card for a day and just doing the best deals that day. Still seems like a lot of hassle. My kids will have the 5-15 Oyster Card and since we will be using the bus a lot they travel free. If my wife and I have Travel cards I have to crank the numbers. I just wish they did the Britrail pass. But it is their country!
