britrail flexi pass

I am trying to buy a britrail flexi pass on line. What is a "railpass safeguard plan"? It costs $14.00! Is it of any value.

It is insurance for your railpass should it be lost or stolen. They will either replace the whole pass or the remaining days. I just read this on the Britrail site, which I've been investigating. You can just click on "railpass safeguard plan" to read more.

Thank you very much. I have decided to buy " point to point" train passes rather than the britrail flex pass.
