Just wondered if you can use a US plug with power ports or do you still need an adapter to UK plug? Thanks
Unless I'm not understanding your question, bring a UK adapter - you'll be needing it anyway in the UK during your travels. (But maybe you're on BA only to transition through Heathrow to the continent and don't want to buy both adapter types?) The only time I ever saw a wall outlet that allowed use of an American-style plug was in my room at the London County Hall Marriott. There were both types of outlets over the desk. It surprised me, but it was a very expensive room just across the bridge from Parliament, so I concluded that they were probably making the effort a tiny bit to cater to U.S. business travelers.
It varies by type and class. Go here:http://www.britishairways.com/travel/world-traveller-seating/public/en_gb and click the pdf link about in-seat power
