I tried to book on BA website a trip from Tampa to Bologna with them,around Xmass.2 days in a row,after went through the booking process,CC info and such,when i clicked BOOK NOW,oops an error of the site prevented YOU from booking.Called the 800# to ask for the web fare(it's only fair,right).Yeah,good luck with that.After i was given the usual rude run around,the third person ,with an indian accent offered me a much higher,take it or leave it fare.Having hit a dead end,wrote a complaint on the BA website.No response.I went ahead and booked with another airline for a better price and swore off BA for good.Just wanted to vent and let everybody know of my experience.
