Booking on Ryan Air

Hi Sue- I was able to book on the Ryan Air website but had to try multiple times. It made me nervous because it always kicked me back to the registration page AFTER I had entered my credit card number. It finally went through (third try, I think), and there has been no strange activity on my credit card, so I think all is well. It might also work to call your credit card company and tell them that the Ryan Air charges are legitimate. I had problems on another European website, and a quick call to Visa did the trick. Cindy

It happened to me too. Just let your credit card company you are going to Europe and viola!

That happened to me because they were having "technical difficulties" and I got no confirmation email, nor was I taken to a confirmation page, but instead got a page that said try back later. I tried back later (successfully this time) but when I checked my credit card statement, I was charged twice! I wrote to Ryan Air and they refunded my money immediately, no questions asked. Ryan Air is a great deal, but unfortunately the website is glitchy. Sorry I can't offer more help, other than Good Luck!

Thanks for all the replies. After 3 frustrating days, I finally gave up and enlisted a friend living in the UK to book for us. He was successful after a couple of tries of his own. There must be something going on with their website if booking from the US right now. My friend in Oregon still has not been able to get it through.

Based on advice I read on this forum, I advised my MC bank of my travel plans and intention to book on a European site before I went to the Ryanair website. I was able to book two flights on Ryanair with no problems whatsoever. Just becareful to read everything!
