Will be in SW Ireland for 10 days starting July 27th with 2 teenage daughters. Will be visiting Doolin, Dingle, Killarney, Kenmare, Kinsale, and Kilkenny. Would like to spend one day on a leisurely bike ride (need to rent) and would like the girls to horseback ride (beginners) one afternoon. Which would be the best cities for these activities?

I have the book, that's why I posted the question. If you did each only once, what would be the best?

Cathy, I'm not sure anyone can answer your question. The only way anyone would know which was best is if they tried them all - and even so, that would only be their opinion. You say you have the information from the book, so you need to look at your itinerary and see where you have time for those activities and decide from there. If you only do it once, whatever city you choose will be the "best".
