Betws-y-Coed train help urgently needed

I am leaving for the UK in about 12 hours, and just went online to book my train ticket for my Betws-y-Coed to Moreton-in-Marsh journey next week. Unfortunately, the train company that offers the ticket (Arriva Trains Wales) only offers pickup from a self-service ticket machine...and the Betws-y-Coed station does not have one. Furthermore, it appears from a quick Google search that the train station is not staffed either, so that would rule out buying the ticket from the window once I get there. Can anyone offer any advice??

Thanks in advance!

Their customer service is open from 8am to 8pm. You probably can pay for your ticket once you get on the train. This trip will be 7 to 8 hrs with three changes.

That's a notorious scam by UK train companies to make it difficult for peope to use cheap tickets. The only thing you can do is take the option when you book to pick the ticket up from another, larger, station, if you happen to pass through one on your way.

Go to any train station before your train trip, a good one would likely be where you're flying in. I actually picked up all my tickets from one station, be they for Wales, England, or Scotland. Gave me the reassurance that I had everything, and was good to go.

Thank you all! Very helpful info. I will skip ordering it online and just try to buy it at another station before I get to Betws-y-Coed. If I can't for some reason, my plan is to board the train at Betws-y-Coed, buy a ticket on board to Llandudno Junction, and then get off at Llandudno Junction and use the self-serve machine to buy the rest of the journey to Moreton-in-Marsh.
