My Mum wants to see cute English houses.I figure cotswold's the place We are staying in bath. We are taking the Mad Max Stonehedge/ Lacock tour in the am, but no MM Cotswold tour offered that day. Other tours of cotswolds? public bus? We would like to end up in Stratford or close to visit the next day. We will have british heritage passes

You can check with National Express for bus schedules. I would probably take the train, but that would cost more. If you mean to make this a one-way trip as far as Stratford, 6 hours sounds reasonable. Chipping Campden is probably the "cutest" town and can be reached by bus from Moreton-in-Marsh or Stratford-upon-Avon.
