In June 2014 at the end of our cruise we want to spend an extra day seeing the fjords of Norway and spending the night somewhere (suggestions?) before flying home to Seattle. What is the easiet way to get from Copenhagen to the fjords and see the fjords in one day before spending the night? Any ideas on a good cruise line for the fjords? Thanks!

If you want to do this in a single day with only one overnight, I'd fly up to Bergen the night before your fjord tour, and book an early morning fjord tour the next day. You could then get an evening or night flight back to Copenhagen after the tour. There are numerous fjord tours out of Bergen. Flights on SAS are pretty cheap, try and fly into Bergen. The Norway in a Nushell trip is a full day though. The train leaves Bergen at 8:45 am and doesn't hit Oslo until 10:30pm. Can you just stay the night there and fly out of Oslo?
