Does anyone have advice on where to stand to see the Trouping of the Colour? We weren't fortunate to receive tickets but would still like to see as much as possible.
Does anyone know the best place on the Mall or if you can actually see the ceremony, from the back of Horse Guards, over the heads of those sitting in the stands?

Believe you can see it from Horse Guards Rd which is between the Horse Guards Parade Area and St. James Park. There's a statute that has a couple of steps. I'd stand there. Don't know what the security will be this year though. Go early.
