Hi, I am putting together a city break trip to Helsinki. I really do not know much about the city and was hoping someone could suggest the best area (or top 2-3 areas) to stay for transportation and sights. Thank you!

Helsinki is not huge like London is. If you stay in the midtown agea, you will be able to walk to most of the sights. If you are going during the summer there are also nice places to visit by boat like Korkeasaari, the zoo on an island or Suomenlinna, an old fortress on a island. I hope you will have fun and enjoy your stay! I will be going also in a few weeks.
