What forms of transport are available at the Hurtigruten port for post-cruise transport in February? The ship company only offers bus transport to four hotels (Admiral, First Marin, Rica, and Scandic Neptune). Staying at the YMCA Hostel right near the Torget (Fish Market). Are there taxis available or other options?

I'd be shocked if there weren't taxis waiting, but the Admiral and First Maris are very close to the YMCA/Fish Market, easy walking distance.

It's got to be less than a thousand yards - - less than ten minutes, nice walking area.

I did walk from hotel to port several years ago but that was in late April. With it being February, I would imagine it's a different experience though.

Bergen is very walkable but bring an umbrella. It's one of the rainiest cities in Europe. Average rainfall 89" per year according to wikipedia. In fact, Bergen used to host an annual rain festival, with an umbrella parade. We were there a few years ago and got soaked - but had a great time.
