Anyone have a "find" in Bergen? Traveling with two friends, would like something well located and reasonable (like everyone else).

In 2005 we stayed at the Admiral Clarion Hotel in Bergen. We chose it because it had some rooms with a direct view of the Bryggen.

I second Richard's post. We stayed there after joining the "Thon Frequent Visitor" club which got us a good discount. We just had to fill out a form in the lobby to join. We found everything in Bergen VERY expensive and I live in Hawaii most of the year for comparison. I really enjoyed that city.

Becky -- I was in Bergen this past April and spent two nights at To Sostre Guesthouse, which was a slam dunk. The hostesses are lovely, the food is great, and the location is perfect and within walking distance of everything! http://www.tosostre.no/
