Belfast tour

Has anyone booked a one-day tour with Belfast Attractions? If so, how was your experience? Thanks for the information.

No, I have not, but we were in Belfast last September and took the hop on hop off bus and it took us to most of the places you would want to see. It has a commentary and you can get off and see what you want as often as you want.

No personal experience, but I was told that the black cab tours are the way to see Belfast. Anthony Bourdain had a segment about it, too.

My wife and I took the hop on&off bus tour of Stockholm and thought it was great. I suggest you try it.

You can do a google search of "Belfast attractions" and choose what you want to see in advance.

Get a brochure describing the tour route and make a list of sights so you will be prepared to get off at the right places.

We're going to do the hop-on hop-off tour when we go. We only have about half a day to see it all, and my husband thought it would be fun to do it on a double-decker bus, so we've opted for this one. I looked into the black cab tours, and they also look great. But I emailed the City Sightseeing website about specifics on the bus tour, and they were incredibly helpful and kind. We're staying at a hotel nearby, but they gave the specific name of an employee at our hotel who would arrange a shuttle to bring us to the pick-up point for the tour. Anyway, you can buy your tix online and it's only 10 Pounds per adult. http://www.belfastcitysightseeing.com/

I took a cab tour of Belfast and it was great. They picked us up at our B&B on the south end of Belfast and toured for 90 minutes and dropped us off.Our B&B owner arranged the cab with a company she dealt with all the time.Id highly reccomend it.The driver stopped often and explained things to us.

We went with a black cab tour of Belfast, our driver picked us up outside the Crown Bar Liquor Saloon (a must-see for its interesting architecture inside) and returned us there. He was very informative about the "Troubles", we toured about an hour and a half.
