I am looking for some suggestions for belfast for 3-5 hours. I would like to do a cab down Falls Road, St. George's Market and Titanic Belfast. Does this sound ok? Other suggestions? How about a handy place to park?
The Belfast City Tour ho/ho bus will get you Falls Road and a lot more with a really good live narration. It has stops at both St Georges and the Titanic place. They start a couple blocks north of City Hall on the east end of Castle Place. There's also a black cab tour which is a bit more personal and lets you ask more questions. The Titanic Quarter is across the river a mile or two from City Hall. You could drive. St Georges is a five-minute walk from City Hall. I've never had trouble finding street parking, but there's a big lot a couple of blocks east of City Hall on whatever the name of the street is. The road has as least three names in almost as many blocks, but if you're facing the front of the building, turn left and start walking. It's three spits away on the left. The Belfast Welcome Center is out the front door of the City Hall, across the street, and half a block down across from the M&S. They have good scoop. You'll notice there's a pattern to these directions. The City Hall is worth a visit itself.
