I've googled several Beatle tours in Liverpool and found a few we'd like to take. Seeing we're going in July, can we contact the National Trust to make a reservation for the Mendips and Forthlin tours? The sites weren't clear as to whether this can be done to secure a particular tour time and date. Thanks.

No idea, I didn't make it up to Liverpool, though I've heard there are multiple tours you can take. I enjoyed visiting Abbey Road and walking the cross walk, and also the great little Beatles store outside the tube station there. 3 Saville Row was cool to see too, right near Picadilly Circus. I just love London.

Yes, I've already carved out time for two tours given by Richard ____(?). He does Abbey Road studios and sites around town. They're reasonably priced and just happen to be offered bookending the RS tour. I can't wait!

You can order tickets over the internet on the National Trust web site. I ordered 2 for June. Tickets are 16 pounds ea. They send them email.
