We stayed at the Three Abbey Green B&B and then moved into one of their apartments, the Abbey View, which was only a few yards from the B&B. Both properties were great. The apartment was perfect for two people. Great location, comfortable living room for relaxing evenings, kitchen to prepare snack or a meal, and a luxurious bathroom. The owners were helpful and gracious. Perfect location and the bedroom is on the rear of the property and very quiet. You can actually see the Abbey from the window. We would definitely return to that delightful apartment.

It is about a 20 minute walk or easy cab ride from the city center and Abbey, but I would recommend Apsley House. Wondeful, charming hotel we stayed at in June. Well worth being a few extra minutes from the center of town.

We stayed at The Henry about five years ago or so when it was going through renovations but it was worth it. I just looked it up on internet and now looks great, wonderful location, near train, car park and maybe only ten minutes walk from the baths. We loved it even with renovations, climbing up stairs over the ready to be installed carpets, etc. It was great location.

Stayed at the Marlborough House last year. It is a short walk into town but so worth it for the wonderful breakfasts and hospitality that Peter and his staff provide.

We enjoyed our stay at The Bath House, 40 Crescent Gardens, Bath, which was a short but pleasant walk to all the major sites within the town center. I do recommend them. Info at http://www.thebathhouse.org/. I just learned the hard way that if you get that web address slightly wrong, it takes you to quite a different type of location.

We also stayed at the Apsley House, it was perfect, can't believe Rick Steves doesn't include it in his books. Great breakfast, great room, great livingroom, beautiful grounds, and friendly hosts! Wish I could find more spots like this in Europe to stay at!

I would recommend the Parade Park Hotel. It's less than a block to the Bath Abbey and within walking distance to the railway station. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. They served a very nice breakfast.
