bath construction

There might be something going on now but not 10 months ago when we were there for 5 days. We stayed 500' from the Roman Baths at Three Abbey Green. There was some street improvement construction next to the nearby Marks & Spencer department store. This was at the lower end of the pedestrian mall and near the train station. However, we didn't see any other construction elsewhere in the major Bath tourist areas.

I drove through Bath last week on the way to Lyme Regis and saw no road works or building works on the roads I was on. Don't know about other roads.

In Bath two weeks ago. Driving a rental car, missed a critical turn and drove a lot around Bath trying to get to the hotel. Hotel was very near the downtown. I saw no major construction either driving around or walking in the downtown area.
