Baby-friendly B&B in Cotswolds and Lake District?

Hello all,

We're taking a family trip to England in October and will have four adults (reasonably active) and one seventeen-month-old toddler (EXTREMELY active). Rick's guidebooks mention that many of the B&B's in the Lake District don't accept toddlers, and that's what I'm finding thus far. Anybody have any suggestions for B&B's in the Cotswolds and Lake District that would welcome a toddler? We're trying to avoid the big hotels.

Thanks!
Eileen

The Stanton Cottages in the little hamlet of Stanton may appeal to you. Stanton is not far from Stow on Wold which has a large Tesco and decent choice of restaurants. In a nearby hamlet called Ford is a pub, the plough, which has great food. Also not far away is Winchcomb with lots of restaurants and Lower Oddington with the well known pub, The Fox Inn. In the Lake District there are lots of sheep farms and many of these farms offer B&B which usually accomodate small children.
