My wife and I will be in London briefly as we fly in and then take the train northward to Wales. The train we are to take leaves from Euston Station. If anyone has any recommendations for lodging that would be somewhere in that vicinity, I would appreciate it. Reasonably priced, of course. Thanks.
Check out The Ibis Hotel Euston. 50 metres from Euston Station.
Another hotel to check is the Euston Travelodge.
Reasonably priced can cover a lot of price ranges.
The area around Euston has cheaper hotel rates at the weekend than working days.
The no frills budget hotels within sight of the station are the Ibis, Travelodge and Premier inn. Some rooms at the Travelodge and Premier inn suffer from traffic noise.
At weekends the Hilton Euston can discount a lot. Otherwise the Novotel St Pancras is a very good hotel at reasonable for London prices if you want a full service hotel.
The cheapest hotels of any quality are about 10 minutes walk down the Euston Road opposite St Pancras Station. Here you will get an ensuite double/twin bed and breakfast around 55-65 GBP. Good ones are Montana Excel, Alhumbra, Meridiana, Wardonia and California hotels
There is an accurate hotel map at the url:

There is a Premiere Inn about halfway between Euston and St Pancras: www.premierinn.com
Priceline.com uses a lot of hotel in this area. I've gotten the Novotel for $79.00USD
