Hello - Has anyone stayed at either the Gramarvin Guest House or Avoncraig Bed and Breakfast in Oban, Scotland? Any suggestions on either would be appreciated. Thank you!

Can't help you with those 2 B&Bs but..........Last May we stayed at the Kilchrenan House. Check out the web site: www.kilchrenanhouse.co.uk Excellent host, home and rooms with one of the best breakfasts we had on our trip. It is a short stroll along the seawall into town. There are rooms with great views of the harbour. We parked the rental car and did everything on foot including walking down to the ferry for Mull. Enjoy your trip, we would return to this B&B.
Just to give you one more to consider: http://www.heatherfieldhouse.co.uk/ We stayed there and it was excellent in every respect. Superior rooms, hosts, food, and ambience. Easy walk to shops and waterfront.
I will be staying at Lagganbeg. Simple; good location. Many B&Bs are near each other. Go to http://www.oban.orguk/content/listing. Select your B&B. On right hand side, click on website. This will link you to the B&B directly. Gramarvin and I believe Avoncraig are both listed. I hope this helps. This is how I found Lagganbeg. If you have some extra money - the Corriemor looks great! Quite a few choices.
