we'd be coming in from kinsale, which is a longish drive. what are some comfy b&b's between kinsale and glendalough, preferable near glendalough?
secondly, any recommendations for navan or drogheda near newgrange? we'd have an afternoon to spend in whatever town it's in.

I can highly recommend Pinewood Lodge in Glendalough. We stayed 2 nights there last year.

I highly recommend Stirabout Lane B&B in Rathdrum, which is pretty close to Glendalough and Wicklow National Park.

It was our favorite B&B during our 10-day trip. The rooms were wonderful, the breakfast was delicious and the owners were very nice.
We just stayed at Ard Ri House in Cashel and is was very nice. Very friendly and delicious breakfast. Ardrihouse.com. Have fun.
We stayed in Laragh at Wicklow Heather B&B (aka Heather House) in May. Beautiful view, close to Glendalough, very nice owners. Great restaurant, too.
