B&B recommendations for Dingle and Connenara please

Hello I am traveling solo, yet I still enjoy the B&Bs. I would like B&Bs that are quiet, smaller without a lot of children and scrumptious food. I would also like to be able to walk to everything as I will be taking a train rather than renting a car. Thank you.

In Dingle - Emlagh Lodge. Great location on the water at the harbor - and a very short walk into Dingle town. Maggie, the owner, is a superb host.

The Captain's House in Dingle is delightful. Beautiful gardens, delicious food and friendly owners. It is right in Dingle and easy walking to everything. You will really enjoy Dingle.

We like the Quay House in Clifden. It was more elegant than most B and Bs

I can highly recommend the Lighhouse B & B in Dingle. Sweeping views of the bay from the breakfast room are worth the stay.

Bummer, I called all the B&B's today as they had not emailed me back. THe lighthouse is sold out for my dates in May due to cyclists and the others are just not my thing. Any other suggestions near Dingle? I am willing to walk 10 minutes or so each way. Thanks

I will be staying at the Milestone B&B in Dingle later this month. I read very good things about it. I can't tell you anything first hand since I haven't been there yet. Check it out.

Try the Duinin House in Dingle(Duininhouse.com). Anne and Patrick are the owners and very helpful with the suggestions of what to see and where to go. It is a lovely B&B and within walking distance of the town if you don't have a car.
We have stayed twice. The breakfast is great!! They introduced us to porridge with Irish cream. She has a printed menu you can choose from for breakfast and has espresso coffee!!! Be sure to go into town for the music in the evening. Pub hop to catch the different players.

Heaton's Guesthouse had the best breakfasts of our trip. Right on the water, though really, all the B&B's seemed well located!

Have you looked at Rick Steve's book, or tried www.tripadvisor.com? There are soooo many. We're thinking of Pax House for our trip in July. Also check out this website for Best and worst accomodations. We have gotten so much good info from the Best and Worst posts about restaurants, accomodations, destinations etc.

Since most of what you have been recommended haven't been "your thing" maybe you should look at the Irish Tourism website and find some that appeal to whatever you are looking for.

Hello. I have decided on two B&Bs in Dingle as I will be there 5 nights and decided to go with one right in town and another which is a good bike ride. As for Connemara, I decided to stay near the National Park in the middle of the wilderness. Even though I am a tourist too, I appreciate the peace of less people and plan to get my books completed in the serenity of the countryside. Thank you all for your help with my decision. I truly appreciate your
kindness. Peace...
