B&B's in London for single traveler on a budget

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions! As it turned out, I just got an email from Mrs Patel at Cherry Court and she offered me a discounted rate on a double which I accepted :) You are all great! Terry Hi all, I have been planning my first (ever!) vacation for the past month or so (going to Ireland, Scotland and England for three weeks!) and I have gotten a lot of great recommendations here (B&B's, tours, sites, etc); but the B&B I was planning on staying at in London (Cherry Court) was booked before I could reserve a room ( :-/ ). Does anyone have any suggestions? I am on a budget... thanks so much! Terry

We have had good stays at Royal Court Apartments, located in Bayswater (north of Hyde Park). This is close to 2 Tube stops and to Paddington Station, which is four blocks away. In 2006, we paid £65.

Morgan House B&B is 58 pounds for a single-down the street from Cherry Court. Great breakfast! Toilets/showers down the hall tho, sinks in rooms. I always stay there, except for once when they were booked up.
