attire for scotlands weather

I am traveling super light due to severe back problems and can't carry much. I don't tolerate temperature extremes well and am trying to find pants that roll up and button to capri length. I wear size 18 and the only light weight pants I can find aren't in my size. Shorts ride up on me so I don't like them. The only other ones I can find are tilleys and cost 110$ Any suggestions?

Check out "Catherines". It is a store for size 16 and up. They also have a web site. I think you would find light weight cotton (docker type) pants good for Scotland. I have traveled there in summer (July) and winter (Nov./Dec.). I never needed shorts or capri's. I wear one pair of black, cotton pants, take 2 pair black or kahki. I pack 1 long sleeve "big shirt" to layer over t's or turtlenecks (I take 3 or 4 of these)and enough underwear and socks for the trip. My bag always weighs less than 15 lb. My husband can pack one that weighs less than 10 lb.
