We seem to be playing roulette with getting a flight in or out of Ireland these days. I was wondering whether there is any accumulation of ash on the ground or in the air affecting people on the ground.
Any on the spot reports?

From friends in Co Donegal and in Glasgow (not Ireland I know) they have seen no ash at all.

My friend left Columbus (Ohio) Saturday morning and was in NYC just in time for the craziness as she went to the theatre that night. She was due to depart JFK Monday night for Dublin. Her flight was canceled and I haven't heard whether or not she made it yet.
Such craziness for travelers!

No problems at all here with ash on the ground or the air, that can be seen :)
