We will be in London, staying near Vauxhall tube stop. Have there been any plans made for the royal wedding that we should be aware of. We want to see Tower of London, go to some notable pubs and my daughter really wants to see the wedding party.

The wedding is at 11:00am at Westminster Abbey, the wedding procession route has been announced yet. It will be leaving from Buckingham Palace traveling to Westminster Abbey. Once the route has been announced then you can decide where you want to stand to watch, but be sure to know that you will need to be by 5am or 6am (some people will be there a lot earlier) to get a spot so you can see anything. Two million people lined the streets for Prince Charles and Dianne's wedding.

Rather than trying to watch the procession to or from the Abby, you might want to grab a place near Buckingham Palace with a view of the balcony where Royals put in appearances. I have read several report that this is a better viewing place than anywhere along the streets. You might not need to be there quite as early- just be willing to wait for them

But if you want to see the royal coaches and the accompanying Horse guards you need to be on the route. Unfortunately it is not much distance between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey- you know they are going to be driving along Pall Mall. There are some broad stairs on the Northern side which will probably make a good viewing spot if you cant get a front row spot- but Londoners already know that.

It will be more crowded around Buckingham Palace it's going to be a sea of people. As mentioned above the procession will probably go down The Mall but as said earlier they haven't announced the route yet. The road Birdcage Walk is another possibility. It's best to wait until they announced the route before making any plans.
