Anyone have experience with the Copenhagen Card?

I have done the math and already know it will save me money. Is the card readily accepted at the venues and on the bus/metro? I don't want to get ripped off. Thanks.

My experience with it was 3 years ago but definitely, it was accepted everywhere. I liked it because I went into places i wouldn't normally have, just because i wandered by them. I even used it to get a discount on the ferry over to Helsingborg and the train up to Helsingor. and I went into Tivoli more than once (I had a 3-day card) It's an official card sold by the tourist information office. No need to worry!

We used 72 hour Copenhagen Cards this summer. The cards work beautifully for any transportation in Northern Zealund. For us that included metro and trains to Roskilde and Helsingor, as well as a "private line" up to Hornbaek beach (apparently private line just means it runs on a different track). Buses are included too but we didn't use any. Tivoli is free as are a number of other sites. Many major sights still require admission. We really didn't have time to see all the free stuff nor did we base our touring decisions around what was free. Overall it was worth the money (about the same as a transportation day pass plus Tivoli admission per day). If you take advantage of all the free stuff, it would really pay. We purchased our cards at the information desk at the airport before catching a train downtown, where we stashed our carryon's, changed in the bathrooms (kind of yucky) and headed to Roskilde Cathedral and the Viking ship museum, before heading back to Copenhagen to check into our hotel. On the way home, we caught the Metro from Kongen's Nytorv to the airport which is amazingly convenient.
