Another London transport question

Here is another last minute question for you all. We are taking the Eurostar from Paris to London at the end of our trip. We arrive at St Pancras at 7:40 pm on a Thursday. We need to get to the Premier Inn in Ruislip. We will have carry on luggage only. Thanks in advance.

The hotel website claims it is a quarter of a mile from Ruislip tube station. You can get there directly from Kings Cross Saint Pancras tube station by taking a Metropolitan Line train to the final destination of Uxbridge. Note that the Metropolitan has several branches and you must take an Uxbridge train. If there isn't one signalled,, take the first train from the westbound Circle/Hammersmith/Metropolitan platform and change at Baker Street. At 7:40 on a Thursday the main rush hour will be over, but trains will still be fairly busy.

Thanks so much. I was hoping it was that easy!
