We will be in Copenhagen for a week in mid oct. Has anyone used airbnb.com for accommodation? There will be 3 of us.
I haven't used it in Copenhagen, but have used airbnb for stays in Boston, London Florence, Nice, Paris, Bath...I had some great deals...I always make sure to read all the feedback, look at the location on a map/google streetview (some listings provide that) and make sure they have the amenities you want, whether it's use of the kitchen, private bathroom, free wifi...whatever you require...our hosts ranged from one who gave us the key and stayed out of the way, to others who picked us up at train/bus stations, fixed us supper and took us on a tour of a small village. It varies...some offered breakfast, others said...you can use the fridge or help yourself...
Tony, Our family stayed in a fabulous airbnb apartment in Copenhagen last June. It's in a very quiet residential area, in a home just two blocks from public transport halfway between the airport and downtown. PMail me and I'll give you the link if you are interested.
We stayed at the Radison Blue Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. It is directly across from Tivoli. We could watch the fireworks at night. The hotel was very nice and close to everything we wanted to walk to.
