Which afternoon tea is better The Promenade at the Dorchester or Claridge's Foyer and Reading room? We did The Ritz last time and want to try something new. Going June 2012.

I would go to Claridge, it's very good, also it was awarded the best Afternoon Tea in London.

Robin Z is pretty much the Afternoon Tea expert around here, so I'd follow her advice. Incidentally, I've taken tea at Claridge's, and it is quite good.

Darren, Re Robin Z: Yes she is. I'll never refer to Afternoon tea as High Tea I can tell you. Although I prefer Browns Hotel...
