Affordable Castle Accomodations around Bath and York

My Fiance and I will be visiting London around the 18th of December 2007. We are going to make a few day trips to Bath, Windsor, and possibly York. We would like a castle to sleep in while we are out of London, although we would love to stay at the Thornburry Castle it is just way to expensive. Does anyone know of a nice Castle accomodation around these areas?

Have you checked guidebooks for the area? You might have better luck with B&Bs. Many times certain accomodations are closed during the winter months, but there are usually some B&Bs that remain open all year.
