affordable B&B inside London

My husband and i are going to London for about 10 days, willing to make it headquarters to see Bath, Sonehenge, Windsor and Cambridge too. Can you recomend something unexpensive but clean and preferably with a shower and loo included, even if everything is samll? After all we are using the room just to wash and sleep because we will be on the go most of the time.

I stayed in the Edward Lear Hotel and loved it. Edward lear wrote the Owl and the Pussycat. It was very clean and nice (cute illustrations on the the wall), convenient (just 100 meters from Oxford Circus right in Central London, and affordable (under 100 pounds). Breakfast was great as well. It's not one of the touristy guidebook leaders because it isn't flashy or trendy, but it's a great place to come back to at the end of the day.

Maria, We've stayed at the Arran House Hotel upon the recommendation of posters on this board. It's not fancy, but it was clean with a "small" bathroom, and good breakfast. It's very reasonable for London, and gets great ratings on trip advisor.

We have stayed at the Winchester hotel which is a couple of blocks from Victoria Station. It is a relatively cheap smaller hotel with very good breakfasts. We are going back to UK with our children this summer and are staying there again. Not a fancy place, but nice, good location, good/big breakfast at a reasonable price.
