Any recommendations on specific hotels, apartments or rental agencies we can work with for accomdations near victoria station for the first week of October this fall? Has anyone heard of E and E rental agency?
Todd, As mentioned, the Lime Tree Hotel is listed in the Guidebook and popular with many. You might also have a look at Cartref House on Ebury Street. It's within easy walking distance from both London Victoria rail station and the Coach station. The accommodations are not luxurious, but it's clean and comfortable and the owners are wonderful. Happy travels!
Victoria station London ...sorry
Rick's book has quite a few suggestions for hotels and B&B's there. Lime Tree Hotel is a favorite. In additionto those, you might have a look at Belgravia B&B, which despite its name offers apartments as well as B&B rooms: http://www.bb-belgravia.com/index.php
We stayed at Luna Simone which is a couple of blocks from Victoria in Pimlico and had a really nice stay.
http://www.lunasimonehotel.com/ It's not the closest to the station but it is in a pretty area with some really nice restaurants and shops around there if you're staying for a while. There are many BnBs stashed in that area but you're smart to get some recommendations first. =Tod
