Looking for recommendations for lodging/cottage in Wales for the first week in Sep. Waiting on Rick's Britain 2007 book to arrive and hoping for some insight! North Wales/Snowdonia/Bangor/Anglesey area. Thanks!

Book quickly, lodging B&B's are quite small and few and far betw. I was alittle disappointed in the ones we stayed at as recom in Ricks book. We tried to stay in the 50GBP range and it may have been too low in comp to rest of Europe.

Conway , is a few miles north.
There are minor roads up into the mountains, just over the river.
And you'd get to drive the beautiful A5 north of Betws-y-coed, with Snowden directly ahead.

Many thanks. I have found a cottage on a farm that should work just fine. Appreciate the input and if you have any other suggestions of 'must see' while we visit, would love to hear them!
