Five of us (two seniors, 2 adults and an 11 year old girl will be arriving in Copenhagen in late Aug. and would like recommendations for reasonable lodging for our first 2 or 3 nights. Any suggestions?
We stay at the Ibis Copenhagen Crown Hotel. Vesterbrogade 41. It's central, the rates are reasonable, the rooms are good and the staff helpful. It's not fancy but it's practical and clean.
We stayed at the Hotel Astoria, close to train station, Tivoli Gardens. It's centrally located. We enjoyed our stay there. Phone #011 49 30 790910.
I never know what "reasonable" is but 6 of us stayed in 2 rooms at the CabInn Scandinavia for under $300. Take the #2 bus and get off at the stop after crossing the canal. There are big signs and it is about 2 blks. There are some closer I think, but this was easy. These rooms are microscopic and some hate it, but we were traveling on a budget since everything was x 6.
