Accomodations in Bath

I've tried The White Hart Inn but they haven't answered me back yet. My stay is from 5/16/10 - 5/18/10 so for 3 nights. Any one has any advice on another place I can check out? I have only sent them an email but I would have to get a phone card to call them this weekend. Thanks in advance!

We're booked at the Badminton Villa B&B in September. It's rated #3 of all B&B's in Bath according to Tripadvisor. Steve and Heather have been very responsive to my e-mails. www.badminton-villa.co.uk.

I've stayed at the Arlyngton and it's fabulous. Also use Trip Advisor, can't be beat for hotel hunting.

No response usually means no room.

Isn't the White Hart a hostel-type place? If you are looking for that type lodging you could try the YMCA in Bath. I've stayed there; they have double and single rooms. Rates are very reasonable. Another option would be to just show up at the White Hart and hope to find lodgings. I stayed there several years ago and the place was nearly empty. Nobody was answering emails. The YMCA is run in a more busines-like manner.

The best location in Bath is the Best Western Abbey as Steve said. It is a average 3 star but the location is great, just around the corner from the baths.

Thanks for the all info. I am thinking of going with the YMCA since i am looking for something cheap and I don't really need a room for myself. Just looking for some place to sleep basically.
