Rick Steeves suggests a few, but was wondering if anyone has stayed there.
My wife and I were on a Rick Steves tour last September and stayed on Aero Island for two nights with the group. We were divided into three groups so got to explore everyone else's place. We were lucky to stay in Toldbodhus B&B. Great couple who ran it. What fun! The other that people enjoyed is Pension Vestergade. The owner is from England and has lots of information to share about the island. I don't think you can go wrong on any of Rick Steve's recommended places in Aeroskobing. Have a great trip.
My Father and I stayed at a B&B --- farm on the "east" side of Aero................can't remember the name off hand but we found the place in RSTEVES book...........it was quite nice and the hospitality was wonderful...............
You will LOVE Aero!!!
We stayed at the Hotel Aerohus, Vestergade 38, 5970 Aeroskobing. It was one of our surprise treats on our trip to Scandinavia. Very nice rooms...good breakfasts, centrally located (a short walk up the hill from the port.. about 4 blocks), but best of all, they have bikes! We rode all around the island while we were there...(fairly easy ride, but plan on 5 to six hours allowing for a stop for lunch). The town of Aeroskobing was delightful, with surprisingly good restaurants and a few nice bars. We only stayed 2 nights...if you have the time you could stay another night and not be bored (there's lots of history on the Island).
