Any suggestions of B&B's or cottages around Betws-y-Coed; Blaenau Ffestiniog and area. I'm not finding any under $120 USD a night. We will be touring by car and looking for a base for at least two nights but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I'm told there are plenty everywhere and no problem to just show up in a town but I'd like to try to find and book since we know where we will be for two days. Thanks. Any mom and pop place?

We stayed in Betws-y-Coed a few years ago. We ate at Fairhaven Hotel Bed & Breakfast and wished we had booked rooms there. VERY nice and food was superior! The roast lamb and the fish were both perfect! The phone # is 01690710307. I know because we took a pic of the sign out front as we had planned to return. We even checked out the rooms. Unfortunately we haven't be able to go back yet!
