I am looking for affordable accommodations in Ireland next June. Will be staying in Kenmare 2 nights, Kilkenny 1 night and Dun Laoghaire 2 nights. Any advice will be appreciated.

A friend of mine stayed in a little apartment above a used book shop in Kenmare. I think it had one double bed and a small kitchen. Don't remember where she found the online advert, though.

Www.discoverireland.com has a list of accomodations all over Ireland. You might want to check there - you can specify the town you want to stay in and get a list of places, with contact information, in all price ranges ("affordable" is different for everyone so it's hard for us to know what you mean by that).

My daughter and I went to Ireland this June and only reserved our last night (close to the airport). We stayed in B&Bs. There are lots of them and we didn't have any trouble finding a cheap one. Look at the room before you agree to the price and all will be well. Have a great trip!
