My wife and I will be staying 2 nights in Edinburgh on 9/8 & 9/9 and are looking at the Old Town area. Looking for clean mid-priced hotels or B&B's. No car. Thanks.

We always stay at the Royal British. It is across the street from the Waverly train station. Just an easy walk across the bridge to the Royal Mile.

Larry - Our family stayed at Mingalar b&b(www.mingalar.eu) this past July and it was a nice place to stay and the room rates were reasonable. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station
