Abbey Hotel - Dublin

I booked a three night stay at the Abbey Hotel in Dublin in September. It is on Middle Abbey Street, off O'Connell. Is anyone familiar with the hotel? I probably should have asked before I booked.

I prefer Dun Laoghaire and bus in to Dublin (which to me is a one day visit only.)
